Overall, I make art and crafts because I frackin' love it. There's nothing as thrilling to me as creating something entirely new with my own two hands and being able to share it with others who appreciate it's uniqueness and beauty. Whether or not I get paid for it, I will make art and crafts for the rest of my life because that creativity is simply a part of who I am.

I grew up in small town Texas and never quite lost the overtly-friendly country girl attitude. My hubby still says I'm as "country as a chicken coop" even though I've been a city dweller for sixteen years. We now live in Austin and I still have a little trouble keeping up with the fast-paced life here, even though I love it!

That being said, I think my deep, country roots really shaped how I approach life. Two things that really influenced me at a young age were the adages: "If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well" and "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you."

So if you met me IRL, you'd notice I'm sweet, hospitable and have a great attention for details. ^_^

When I'm not working - I spend most of my free time playing games, visiting the Alamo Drafthouse, cuddling my hubby and three kitties, hanging out with my friends at all the gamer-geek hot spots in town.

My ultimate dream is to share unique, quality, reasonably-priced art, wearable-art and crafts with those who aren't looking for mass-produced retail items.

To that end, I very recently started an Etsy shop and it's still relatively new venture for me so I'd appreciate any feedback you may have on my items or services.
